As we closed out 2014 and began 2015 we have an energetic group of directors (but could always use more volunteers) which are looking to promote crime prevention in the Smoky Lake County.

We are looking forward to our Annual AGM on March 2nd where we will be honoring the students who were winners in our local coloring contest as well as rumor is we have have 3 winners that were selected at a Provincial level as well. The Rural Crime Calendars are available at the Smoky Lake Fish & Wildlife Office for free and it showcase the twelve 1st place winners from 2014 in the province of the coloring contest.

We are also looking at several other presentions to be done in the community: High Heels & Spurs, YIELD program, Crime Prevention Week, a float for our local parades and of course our 2nd annual Jail & Bail Fundraiser just to name a few fun events that are planned for 2015.

We look forward to your support at our upcoming events and thank you for our support in keeping our comminity safe & crime free.

Sincerely,

Patty Franchuk
